The Gateway Centres aim is to act as a ‘flexible educational centre’ within the College in order to engage and prepare you for progression onto a suitable course, employment or training.
Based in Abingdon, Witney and Blackbird Leys the Gateway Centres offer supportive and progressive student-led programmes for 16-18 year olds who are not currently in education, employment or training.
This may be due to missing school because of illness, phobias, caring responsibilities, etc. or not having found your direction since leaving school.
